Why is it that Lip Gloss helps me better then....?

No smart answers please. Im a guy and i have a problem with my lips being chaped all the time. Well Chap Stick helps but don't work that long so i was told to try lip gloss. Well for the past 3 days i have been using lip gloss and it's been lasting longer and my lips aren't chaped anymore. So why is that and will girl's think im strange?Why is it that Lip Gloss helps me better then....?
As a girl, I think it's perfectly fine for lip treatments, unless it's tinted.


Jk, anyway, lip gloss has more moisture because it is supposed to last longer and be glossy. Lip glosses have been designed to last longer and longer, therefore, better than chap stick. Also, it has a very creamy base, great for your lips. It's made to help lips be more kissable, therefore more soft.

its because lipgloss is thicker, and you coat the lips with it- you dont just slide a little on.


It stays on longer because girls want ';lasting lip shine';





If you dont put a ton on and it isnt tinted then no one would really be able to tell. but if its sparkly or tinted- or you just apply a lot people will notice. And its a great possibility you'll get laughed at.

I don't think it's strange at all, you see why so many women wear lip gloss. If it didn't work, we wouldn't wear it.


I just wouldn't want you to pull out a tube with the applicator brush and your guy friends clown you about it.


I suggest:


Buy the Mary Kay satin lips, it looks like a tube of chap stick, and lasts longer than lip gloss. I actually put in on under my lip gloss and it works really well.





P.S. Your lips will be extremely soft and girls will like that a lot.
If I were you I would check out the holistic lip glosses by Bee-Luscious. They are long lasting because they don't have petroleum jelly in them. Plus they will make your lips very soft and women love men with soft lips.

Who really cares? Do you? If it makes YOU feel comfortable, that's all that really matters - so carry on, I wouldn't care if a guy wore lipgloss or think it effeminate. I would imagine that it was lip-ice anyway.
wear the lip gloss at night before you go to sleep, not only will you wake up with super soft lips, but people won't see you and think of you as strange. Here's a tip for softer lips: at night use a toothbrush or a towel and rub/brush your lips gently, then apply a small amount of petroleum jelly and a thicker coat of lip gloss, when you wake up sprinkle a little bit of water on top of your lips then wipe with with a clean towel, Voila! soft kissable lips!! During the day try using Carmex lip balm to maintain the softness and prevent wind/sun burn.
Are you straight? Yes...some girls will think it looks a little strange...Try Blistex or Carmax or Burt's Bees..all REALLY good, better in my opinion than regular Chapstick..and last longer...seriously, a guy with a dewey-pouty lip would not turn my head...
